Look what we drove behind for a few miles!!!!!!!
We got out at a look-out point so we could take a picture of the Columbia River in Vantage, WA.
The rainbow was in Spokane and it came at the same time as a phone call, which I must mention, is much appreciated during this drive.
Next was Idaho with not much to report. Montana!!! This is where I lost cell phone service for more than 2 hours. I didn't have one twitch so I'm pretty proud of myself.
The last picture is of our hotel in Alberton. It's a bed and breakfast that I'm almost positive has ghosts. I don't remember seeing any street lights on the way to "the" restaurant for dinner. Yes, you read that right, the one and only restaurant.

***Bonus question of the day*** FOR EAST COASTERS ONLY!!!!!!!!!
The final picture was taken as a backdrop for what 1990's TV show?

Pictures - where are they? I cant see any.
Max...try right clicking on your mouse. The dialog box should say "Show Picture". Click on it and see what happens.
The mural of Roslyn Cafe served as the backdrop of "Northern Exposure" which was NOT shot in Canada.
Great pics. Keep them coming.
Love from all of us (and Shadow)from back home. Drive safely.

Hi Guys!!! I am so happy to be reading someone else's blog for a change. I am so jealous that you are on a road trip. It is one of my favorite things in the world. remember you will get tired but it is about the journey...not the destination so stop silly places and take your time. Your pictures are great!! You will be here before you know it.
James we can't wait to meet you and welcome you to Philadelphia. I am a west coast transplant as well so I kinda know the feeling.
Well, "I need to let you go" be safe and I will be checking in to see the updates.

Good ol' Roslyn... the pictures look great Amy. James, you didn't get chased by any ghosts?
Hi guys! I am so happy to be able to catch up/keep up with you! I want you to know that I knew it was "Northern Exposure" and just for the record... when Josh and Zach were about 5 and 3 years old, Michael got an offer and wanted to move us to Gilette (To run a casino, no less)! My response was that getting us there would be a "Close shave!" My mother, believe it or not, was the one who said, "You need to go if that's where he wants to go!" Not for me! I'll take Boca! Thanks for the updates... keep them coming!
